24th April 2008 Windsurfing: Hayling Island Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny, mixed cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: Drove through showers and sun, arrived at high tide, with people saying the wind had dropped and the shorebreak was bad. Rode out through the shorebreak, plenty of wind for little me on a 4.7, had a great time. Seemed like I hardly got wet! The sun shone more, great! Came in for a drink, and the wind started to drop, so stopped after a few on/off and in/out meanderings. Lovely day :-) Saw Bill, who arrived and rigged a 6.5 - wonder how he got on, especially as he'd left his harness at home and brought Heather's boots... |
